YALCO - Socrates D. Constantinou & Son S.A. was founded in Drama in 1920 as a family business and in its hundred year course, it has developed into one of the leading Greek companies in the field of trade and production.
In 1995 YALCO was listed on the Athens Stock Exchange and during the same year, it was named one of the "500 most dynamic European companies", winning an award given by the European Union to the fastest growing companies.
In 2002 it acquires FEST and enters dynamically in the production of non-stick cookware. FEST, in the years that followed, gained a leading share in the Greek market and significant exports to more than 25 countries.
In 2011 YALCO, continuing the acquisitions, acquires IONIA, the leading brand of domestic and professional porcelain in Greece. At the same time, it develops a network of stores and shop-in-shops, both for IONIA porcelain and for the selected collection of household products IONIA HOUSE.
At the same time,with a state-of-the-art storage and distribution center in Oinofyta, Boeotia, with a capacity of more than 30,000 pallets as its base, YALCO expands its activity in new, dynamic sectors, such as storage and distribution services to third parties.
The company has offices and showrooms in Athens, Thessaloniki and Rhodes.
Today it employs about 100 people in production, sales, exports and administration.

As we are looking into the future, we care for the environment, following every possible ecological standard, honouring the principles of environmental protection. (ID 1027)
We operate the most modern and compatible with the protection of the environment mechanical equipment in each of our activities and in the production of our products.
We have implemented extensive tree planting around our facilities in Oinofyta, Boeotia and we have placed battery collection and paper recycling bins in our offices.
And of course, we pay special attention to the selection of companies that collaborate with us, which must inevitably share the same values and be governed by strong environmental sensitivity.
